W. H. Ford, 82 Died Sunday

William H. Ford, 82, well known Creston tailor and resident of this city since 1898, died Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at his home, 307 North Pine street, following a month's serious illness. He was born in Branscombe, England, Jan. 11, 1857 and moved to the United States in 1876.

In 1890 he moved to Ottumwa where he started a tailoring business and eight years later set up business in Creston. Mr. Ford was married Aug. 7, 1897 at Ottumwa to Maude Mae Calhoun, who died in 1934.

Surviving are three sons, Frank E., John A. and George Ford, all of Creston. Funeral services will be held at the Deitrick and Keating chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. Walter A. Morgan. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
