The funeral of little Herman Sharp, six year old son of Wm. Sharp, living several miles west of town, took place Thursday last, the sermon being preached by Rev. G. J. Nixon. The remains were interred in the Afton cemetery. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Sharp, will sympathize with them in their recent bereavement.

Homer C. Sharp, age 6 years 5 months and 2 days, died July 15, 1891, of congestion of the brain, after an illness of seventeen days. The deceased was the fifth child of Wm. and Hattie Sharp born Feb. 13, 1895. All that medical aid could do was done for the little sufferer but he breathed his last at early dawn. This is the fourth time the angel Death has visited this household and taken from its midst a precious darling. Rev. G. J. Nixon, of Afton, preached a very impressive sermon after which the remains were followed by a large concourse of friends and interred in the Afton cemetery. The grief stricken parents have the sympathy of their many friends in this their sad hour of bereavement.
