The death of W. K. Cullison occurred last Saturday morning at 3 o'clock after a long illness. He had been quite low for some time past and although hopes were entertained for his recovery his death was not altogether unexpected. Mr. Cullison had long been a resident of Afton and is well known by the entire community. The bereaved family have the sympathy of a large number of the citizens of Afton.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Evangelical church, the services being conducted by Rev. Nixon, after which the remains were followed by a large concourse of sympathizing friends of the bereaved relatives to the cemetery where they were laid away in their last resting place.
