46, Dies Sunday

Mrs. Lloyd Peery, 46, died at her home, 611 West Adams Street, at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, after a two years' illness. She was a native of Adams county.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church here at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Myron E Hayes, the pastor, will conduct the services, assisted by Rev. C. William Bast, pastor of the Cromwell Congregational church. Burial will be in the Cromwell cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jay Polson, Lloyd Rockhill, Herman Miller, Marshall McLaughlin, Warren Harrison and J. G. Stamper.

Grace P. Taylor was born near Cromwell in Adams county, September 29, 1901. she was the daughter of Ira and Frances B. Gravitt Taylor. She was married at Cromwell, July 20, 1926, to Lloyd Peery, who survives her.

Also surviving are her parents, of Cromwell; a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Taylor of Cromwell; a niece Shirley Taylor of Cromwell; two aunts, Mrs. O. W. Halterman of Des Moines and Mrs. O. A. Matthews of San Bernadino, Calif.; and an uncle Harvey Gravitt of San Bernardino

Mrs. Peery had lived in Creston since 1938. She was a member of the Methodist church, The Rebekah lodge, the Carantion club, the Chautauqua Circle and the Woman's club.

Her body will remain at the Deitrick and Keating chapel until the time for services.
