Funeral services were held April 5 at Caldwell Funeral Home, Plattsmouth for Rachel Pearl Craig, 62 of Plattsmouth who died April 3 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Plattsmouth.

The Rev. Wilfred Henning Officiated. Pallbearers were Robert Brittain, David Gochenour, Richard Clark, Charles Wondra, Donald Brittain, and Larry Adkins. Interment was at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Plattsmouth.

Rachel Craig was born June 4, 1922 at Walker, Minn., the daughter of Frank and Xima D. (Major) Sheldon.

She and Ralph Craig were wed May 29, 1948 at Afton, Iowa.

Mrs. Craig is survived by her husband, Ralph, by a brother, Frank Sheldon, Belchertown, Mass., by sisters, Opal Wright, Aurora, Minn., and Ruby Gochenour, Plattsmouth, a daughter Orpha Mason, and two grandchildren. She was preceded by an infant son.
