ROY F. HAMMANS OF LORIMOR DIES

Roy Fenner Hammans of Lorimor died Thursday, March 24, at the age of 83 years.

Mr. Hammans was born near Lorimor Dec. 12, 1883, a son of William H. and Mercy "Myrta" (Groesbeck) Hammans. He was well known in the community, and was a member of the Methodist church there as well as the Masonic lodge and Eastern Star.

His wife died in 1958. He is survived by two sons, Fred and Elton Hammans, both of Lorimor, by Erma McClement, who was reared in his home; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Ralph Hammans of Winterset; and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Brant of Truro and Mrs. Florence Bacon of Lorimor.
