Truman "Slim" Lear, Creston

Services for Truman 'Slim' Lear, 94 of Creston, formerly of Osceola and Camdenton, Mo., were 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Keating-Lindsay Golden Rule Funeral Home here.

The Rev. George W. Campbell, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, officiated with burial in Greenfield Cemetery. Music was provided by Cindi Selim, organist and soloist.

Pallbearer were Jim and John Bloom, Brad, Brent and Bryan Jones and Richard Gonseth.

Honorary pallbearer were Skip Bailey, Jerry John, L. S. and Ron Gonseth, Dale Lear and Dick Turner.

Mr. Lear was born Sept. 15, 1893, in Afton, and died Aug. 8, 1988, at the Crest Haven Care Center. He operated a cab service and worked in security.

Survivors include his wife, three daughters and a son.
