FARMER’S BODY FOUND LYING IN HOG LOT
Heart Attack Was Cause of Death of Wilson Wallace

Wilson Wallace, 58-year-old farmer, was found dead in a hog lot on his farm at the northeast edge of Creston last night. Coroner A. S. Beaty said he had died from a heart attack. When the body was found, the hogs had mutilated the side of the face and fingers on one hand.

Mr. Wallace was last seen by member of the family about 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Dr. Beatty said that death occurred shortly thereafter. The body was discovered shortly before 8 o’clock.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o’clock Monday afternoon from the Christian church in Creston, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. E. E. Lister, and burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Wallace was born April 20, 1880, in Black Hawk county, Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Wallace. He was married Sept. 10, 1902, in Creston to Lena Severine but moved to this community to make his home in 1931. He formerly lived at Greenfield.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Frizell of Greenfield, Mrs. Hester Dorsey of Woodbine, Iowa, and Mrs. Lorene Wilcox of Des Moines; three sons, Kenneth and Harold Wallace of Creston, and Rex Wallace of Greenfield; one brother, Will Wallace of Kansas City; and six sisters, Mrs. Laura Horton of Creston, Mrs. Hester Boyer of Chadron, Nebr., Mrs. Lillian Holliday of Keokuk, Mrs. Ida Lines, Mrs. Alice Joneson and Mrs. Stella Keehn of Creston.
