FRANK AMBURN DIES AT 94

LENOX—Frank Amburn, 94, died Tuesday afternoon at the Lutheran Home for the Aged in Vinton. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Larkin-Bender funeral home in Lenox. Rev. Richard VanTyle will officiate. Burial will be in the West Fairview cemetery here.

Mr.Amburn was born June 26, 1879, in Benton county. He was the son of William and Anna Westcoatt Amburn and was the last of a family of five. He had been in the tiling business and also farmed in the Lenox vicinity.

His wife, the former Edith Fisk, to whom he was married Dec. 20, 1909, died in 1949. An infant son also preceded him in death.

Survivors are three daughters, Verda Austin of Elkhorn, Wis., Inez Van Arkel of Pella and Lela Teadsworth of Lenox; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 this evening.

A memorial is being established for the Lutheran Home in Vinton.
