Obituary

Mary Jane Owens was born in Boston, Mass., Dec. 25, 1860. Died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Burklew Hoover in Creston, Ia., Oct. 25, 1923. She was united in marriage to W. H. Holland Feb. 20, 1889. The deceased leaves to mourn her loss her husband, one sister, Mrs. B. Hoover, two brothers, C.P. Owens and Pat Owens of Afton, Iowa.

A loving one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled

A place is vacant here on earth
Which never can be filled.
