Died Early Today

Mrs. C. D. Wilson, lifelong resident of Grant township, Union county, died at 7:40 a. m. today after a year's illness.

She was born June 19, 1883, the daughter of Elmer and Louise Holland. Her married in 1906 took place at the farm home 10 miles south of Creston where the wilson family continues to reside at the present time.

Surviving relatives include her husband, four sons, Norval of Corpus Christi, Texas; Earl of Shannon City, Ray of Creston and Leland of Kent, one brother James Holland of Pleasantville, three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Swartz of Boise, Idaho and Mrs. Pearl Welcher and Lela Holland, both of Long Beach, Calif., and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Sunday at the Shannon City Methodist church, of which Mrs. Wilson was a member. The Rev. W. L. Hawn of Bagley, formerly of Shannon City, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Harmony cemetery in Grant township. Until the time of services the body will remain at the McGregor and Coen's.

(Graceland cemetery records show her name as Jessie, she died January 14, 1944 and was buried October 14, 1968 in Graceland)
