Mrs. William A. Stoenner, 67, a lifelong resident of the Afton and Creston vacinities, died at 1:13 p.m. at the Greater Community hospital here. Her death followed a three-year illness.

Funeral services will be held at the Keating and Beemer chapel here at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev G.G.Bratsel, paster of the Evangelical and Reformed Church, will officiate, Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery at Afton. Casket bearers will be Wayne Turner, Ben Fitzgerald, Clark Galehouse, G.E. Saylor, Roy Neville and Herman W. Fisher.

Edith Luella Donner was born on a farm near Afton, May 5, 1887. She was the daughter of Sterling G. and Henrietta Preston Donner. She had lived in and around Afton and Creston all her life. She had lived in Creston since 1916.

She was married here, Dec. 31, to William A. Stoenner, who survives. Also surviving are a son Kenneth Stoenner, Creston police chief; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Birkner of Creston; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Essie Roodell of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Pearl Leech of Oskaloosa, Ia., and Mrs. Florence Cone of Shannon City; and a brother Roy Donner of Diagonal, one sister Mrs. Ruth Oakes of Shannon City, preceded her in death last May.

Mrs. Stoenner attended the Evangelical and Reformed St. John's church here.
