Former Resident Dies in Oskaloosa: Mrs. Elmer Leech of Oskaloosa former resident of the Afon Community, died at a hospital in Oskaloosa at 4 o'clock Wednesday Morning, March 23.

Mrs. Leech was the former Pearl Donner daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S.C. Donner. Mrs. Leech was born in the Afton community and lived in Union County moving to Oskaloosa about 30 years ago.

She is survived by her husband, son Harold and wife, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of Oskaloosa, a brother Roy Donner of Afton, Mrs. Frank Cone of near Arispe, Mrs. Essia Roodell of California and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was proceeded in death by two sisters, Mrs. L.E. Oakes last May and Mrs. W.A. Stoenner in August.

Funeral services were held at the Powers Funeral Home in Oskaloosa and the burial in the cemetery near town.
