CYNTHIA MCKEE, 81, OF AFTON DIES

AFTON -- Mrs. Cynthia McKee, 81, a lifetime resident of the Macksburg
vicinity until moving to Afton in 1950, died at the Greater Community
hospital in Creston at 10 p.m. Tuesday. She had been a patient at the
hospital since February 4.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been made. Her body is at the Charles E.
Coen and son funeral home in Afton.

Mrs. McKee was born in Madison County on Feb. 9, 1876.

Surviving are her husband, Lorenzo; three daughters, Mrs. Reva Austin of
Garden Grove, Calif., Mrs. Ethelda Parks of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Mrs.
Hattie Henry of Thayer; three sons, Gerald of Macksburg, Paul of Omaha, Nebr
, and Orlie of Afton; 30 grandchildren; two brothers, Verlin Wright Cour d'
Alene, Idaho; and two sisters, Mrs. Lulu Fleming of Fergus Falls, Minn., and
Mrs. Garnett Stocker of St. Joseph, Mo.

Services Saturday for Cynthia McKee

AFTON -- Funeral services for Mrs. Cynthia McKee, 81, a lifetime resident of
Macksburg until moving to Afton in 1950, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in
the Methodist Church at Macksburg, Rev. E.C. Shull, Pastor of the Assembly
of God Church at Creston, will officiate. Burial will be in the Moon
Cemetery at Macksburg.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters and three sons. Also
surviving are two brothers who were incorrectly identified in the story of
Mrs. McKee's death Wednesday. The brothers are Verlin Wright of Bedford and
Elwood Wright of Cour d' Alene, Idaho.
