CHAD M. CRENSHAW, Afton

Chad Michael Crenshaw, 21, died Jan. 7, 2002, at his home.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 12, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with the Rev. Phil Coe officiating. Burial was at Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola.

Chad Crenshaw was born Nov. 12, 1980, in Des Moines to Eddie Wayne and Beverly Jo (Knight) Crenshaw. As a youth, he lived for a brief time in Des Moines, then moved to Lorimor where he resided for 18 years. Since October of 2000, he lived in Afton. He was educated in the East Union Schools in Afton. Chad was a lineman with Rose Acre Farms in Winterset for the past one and one-half years.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, his paternal grandfather and his great-grandparents.

He is survived by a son, Dustin Tease of Winterset; his mother, Beverly Sims (husband Hershel) of Osceola; his father, Ed Crenshaw of Afton; two brothers, Ryan Crenshaw of Winterset and Nicholas Crenshaw of Afton; his grandparents, Duane and Colleen Knight of Pharr, Texas, and Evelyn Lorena Owens of Creston; and several aunts and uncles.
