Agnes Rae Aller, daughter of Edward T. & Celia Nichols McCartney was born June 23, 1895 in Madison County, Iowa, and died May 10, 1999 at the Afton Care Center, Afton, Iowa. She was 103 years of age.

Mrs. Aller attended Murray schools and graduated in the class of 1913. While attending school she worked as bookkeeper for Bosseman Bros. Grain Elevator. After graduation she taught school north of Murray in Madison Township and south of Murry in Troy Township.

Mrs. Aller spent her entire life in the Murray area. On June 12, 1917 she married Hubert G. (Dutch) Aller. She was very active in the Methodist church and a home maker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hubert G. (Dutch) Aller, her sisters, Grace Patterson and Pauline Hull; her brothers, Vern and Harold McCartney.

Mrs. Aller's survivors include her son, Robert and his wife Doris of Kearney, Missouri; three grandsons, Robert Aller Jr., of St. Louis, Missouri; John Aller of New York City and Christopher Aller of Englewood, Colorado; two great-grandsons and one great-great-granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., May 14th, 1999 at the Murray Cemetery, with Rev. John Tunnicliff officiating. Burial will be in the Murray Cemetery. The Powers Funeral Home of Afton is in charge of arrangements.

Honarary Pallbearers were Robert Aller Jr., John Aller, Christopher Aller, Don Hall, Don Vreeland and Clarke Woods.
