Mr. Kinkade came here when a young man in the early ‘70’s. He followed farming and success awarded his efforts. He was united to Miss Emma White who with her infant child were claimed by death. Later he married Miss Clara Widger, the mother of his children, who were born and grew to manhood and womanhood here. The wife passed away a number of years ago and he afterwards was united in marriage to Miss Lizzie Nichol. He is survived by the wife and his children, Mrs. Amanda [William] Ours, Harvey, Elmer and George of this vicinity, Mrs. Mae [T. W.] Dryman, of Clyde Park, Montana and Frank of Chicago. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon [June 2] at the home after which the remains were brought here [Cromwell] for interment in the family lot [in Cromwell Cemetery] and was accompanied by many friends.” END
