Rites today for Lillian Goodridge

AFTON--The funeral for Mrs. Lillian Goin Goodridge, 88, of Dubuque, was held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Stroud Lindsay funeral home at Afton. Rev. James W. Morris, pastor of the Afton United Methodist Church officiated. Music was by Mrs. Patience Hastie who played "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Nearer My God To thee". Casket bearers were Joseph C. Goin, Dick Peterson, Tom E. Goin, Jr., Joseph V. Goin, Michael E. Goin and Joseph Waske. Burial was in Greenlawn cemetery at Afton.

Mrs. Goodridge died at the Enoble Manor Care Center at Dubuque Sunday. She was a former resident of Afton and had lived in Des Moines where she had been in private nursing duty for many years before her retirement.
