Walter "Speed " Weeber, 72, Apartment C1 Regency Park died Tuesday morning, Oct 13,1987, At Greater Community Hospital.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Keating - Lindsay Golden Rule Funeral Home here. The Rev. M. Wayne Clark, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Thursday with a family night from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the congregate Meals.

Weeber was born April 20,1914, to John Walter and Emma Weeber. He married Gladys Hazel Recoy Aug 31, 1946. She died Jan 8, 1977. He was a longtime Union County resident and was a section Maintenance worker for the Burlington Northern Railroad. He reited in 1974. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Theodore J. Marten Post 1797 VFW. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S.Army.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Mrs. Norris) Gerrard and Mrs. Ruth Maxwell of Fort Dodge; two sons John (wife Linda) Weeber of Lenox and Chester Weeber of Galesburg,ILL.; eight grandchildren, and a brother of Ida Grove.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister
