Luther Keller Dies Today at 67

Luther A. Keller, 67, died at 9:15 today at his home at 403 South Vine Street. He had been ill for some time.

Mr. Keller had lived in Creston for about 45 years.

Funeral servixes will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Creston Assembly of God Church. Rev. C. P. Ruby, the pastor, will officate. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. His famiy will be at the McKasson Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Luther Keller was born in Union County. March 19,1904. He was the son of Oliver and Daisy KinKennon Keller. He was married Oct 4, 1926, at the Baptist Parsonge in Creston to Rhoda Beedle.

Mr. Keller is survived by his widow; three sons, Lawrence and Don H. Keller of Joliet, Ill., and Clerenence Keller of Creston; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Beulah) Jones, Mrs. Don (Rosalie) Harris and Mrs. Frances Clayton of Creston and Mrs. Richard (Virginia Faye) Pierce of Des Moines; his mother, Mrs. Daisy Whitehead of Creston; 15 grandchildren and two great - grandchildren; three halh brothers, Virgil and Alfred Blanchard of Creston and Ray Blanchard of Des Moines; and seven halh sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Allen of Indianola, Mrs. Sam (Bertha) Wiley, Mrs. Harlan (Irene) Overholser and Mrs. Acil (Betty) Coy of Creston, Mrs. Les (Lela) Harden in Minnesota, Mrs. Preston (Marie) Perry of Des Moines and Mrs. Mildred Cochrane of Corning. He was preceded in death by a daughter and half sister.

He was a member of the Creston Assembly of God Church.
