Leland L. KinKennon, Creston

Leland L. KinKennon, 65, 400 S. Maple Street, died Oct 14,1993, at his home.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Graceland Cemetery. The Coen- Beaty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be open visitation after 9 a.m. Saturday. Memorials may be directed in his name.

Mr. KinKennon was born March 16,1928, in Creston to Thomas and Emma Johnson KinKennon. He lived in Creston all his life and worked as a laborer. He was a veteran of World War ii serving with the U.S. Army from Feb 13,1946 to Oct 14,1947.

Survivors include his wife, Raedine KinKennon of Corning; daughter Donna (husband Mike) Britt of Osceola; three sons Ronald (Wife Georgia) KinKennon, Kent (wife Sue) KinKennon, and Monty KinKennon, all of Corning; three grandchildren; two brother, Bernard KinKennon and Byron KinKennon, both of Ridgecrest, Calif., and a sister-in-law, Anna KinKennon of Creston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters, three brothers, and a son.
