GERTRUDE "TRUDY" NEISEMIER

Winterset

Gertrude "Trudy" Neisemier, 75, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2004 at her home. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Collins Oak Park Chapel. Burial will be in the Lorimor Cemetery in Lorimor, IA.

Trudy was born in Lorimor, IA to Roy Edward and Nettie Vesta (Hiskey) Dodd. She was a 1946 graduate of Lorimor High School. On August 2, 1946 she married Fred Neisemier in Creston, IA.

Tudy had been a resident of Winterest for the last 48 years. Prior to that she had lived in Lorimor, Thayer and Murray. She had been a homemaker and earlier in life had been a telephone operator. Turdy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed dancing and camping.

Trudy is survived by her son, Marlin (Sherry) Neisemier of Creston; daughter, Vella Beebe of Winterest; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred G. Neisemier; brothers, Claude Dodd and Grover Dodd and sister, Irma Johnson.

Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until 8 .m. at Collins Oak Park Chapel. Her family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Lorimor Cemetery Association.
