Lewis O. Abell, 54 years old, a resident of this community for many years, was found dead in his bed early today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. D. Shobe, 516 West Mills street. Death was caused by heart disease. Funeral services for Mr. Abell, who was a retired farmer, will be held at 2:30 Friday afternoon at the Baptist church, with Rev. J. H. Woodsum officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cementery.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. May Herrick of Morefield, Neb., and Miss Bessie Abell and Mrs. Shobe, both of Creston, and three step-children, Mrs. Maude Reader of Chicago and Glen and Earl Waltz, both of Creston. Mrs Abell died in September, 1926.
