John Spear died at his residence in Afton of Pneumonia complicated with Pleurities, Saturday evening, after an illness of about two weeks. He leaves a faithful wife and six children to mourn their loss, who have the sincerest sympathies of the community. Elder Pegg preached the funeral sermon, and the remains were interred in the West Union cemetery Monday
