A dark shadow has fallen upon this community in the present month, by the death of one of the youngest and one of the oldest members of the M.E. church. The first was that of Robbie Longworth, son of S.H. and Kate Longworth. In the loss of Robbie, through but a little over ten years old, a light has gone out of the home and the Church, for he was a prudent little Christian. On Dec. 6, kneeling beside his ma, he commemorated the death and suffering of our dying Lord; and in two weeks from that day was borne from this church, by weeping friends all that remained of the dear boy, to the grave.
