Lockwood--Died Jan. 24, 1881, near Kent, IA of diphtheria. Susan, daughter of E.J. and Mary C. Lockwood. She was 16 years old Jan. 1, 1881. She united with the M.E. Church at the age of nine years and has been a faithful Christian ever since. Beloved by all, her death cast a gloom over the entire community.
