Hi,
Thanks for a great site - your volunteers are doing a great job. :) I have found land records from 1892 - 1909 which suggest that my Williamson ancestors held land in Oneida, Tama County. Can you explain if they actually owned the land (if their name is on a township map), and if so if there is anywhere I can look at records which might indicate when they bought/sold the land - I have tried to look at iowalandrecords.org and it just loads a Google search page! I would also like to find birth, marriage and death certificates for my ancestors' families and they don't seem to be freely available on Ancestry. Is there any way I can search for them and then buy them from Iowa? I am in Australia so can't come and search in person.
