I do have a Geo.Watts in my file born in 1848 Michigan, son of William E. Watts and Sophia Young
Of this union were: John Watts b.1844 MI, Harriot E.Watts b. 1846 MI, Geo Watts b 1848 MI and M Watts b. 1854 Tama,Tama Co. IA. William and Sophia are listed in 1850 Cen, Kalamazoo, MI, 1860 Cen, Tama,IA. William left Iowa in 1878 for Nebraska to serve in the Army and can be found in the 1880 cen. of that state under his wife's name. Hope this is your man. I'm trying to find the parents of Sophia. Her mother was Harriet Palmer Yound. She later married my ggggrandfather John Bishop. Harriet is from NY and that is where she probably married Mr. Yound. Barry Dalton
