Annie Williams Camery
Obit for Annie Williams Camery of Traer: After long weeks of pain, long weeks of battling between hope and fear, Mrs. C. P. Camery passed away Tuesday afternoon (Oct 3, 1893). Hers has been a case almost hopeless from the beginning of her last long illness, yet she revived often and it seemed as if hope and trust and prayer might triumph. The deceased was born in Utica, New York, June 1, 1829, Her childhood was spent in Ohio. She was the only one of ten children born in America. March 24, 1854, she was married to C. P. Camery, in Knox County Ohio. The couple came to this community from Henry, Illinois, twenty-five years ago. Nine children were born to them. Eight are living and were present at the funeral. On Wednesday afternoon a large congregation of friends assembled at the Methodist Episcopal to pay a last tribute of love to her memory. Rev. Miller conducted the service.
Burial was in Buckingham Cemetery.
