JEFF DOLEZAL

On the morning of Sept. 6, 2015, Jeff passed away after a six year battle with Melanoma cancer. He passed peacefully in his home in Avon, Ind. Jeff was 58 years old.

Jeff Dolezal was born in Marshalltown, IA on Dec. 27, 1956. He was raised on a farm outside of Toledo, Iowa.

He was the son of Charles and Martha Dolezal, Toledo, IA. Jeff graduated in 1975 from South Tama High School. He graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Agronomy from Iowa State University. Jeff was married to Carolyn on March 5, 2005, married for 10 years. Jeff spent most of his time working in Agriculture Sales. The last 4 years, Jeff and Carolyn developed a very successful business, called Aeration Management Solutions in Indiana. The business specialized in grain management and safety, which he had a passion for in agriculture business.

Jeff was a former Vice President of the Indiana Chapter of G.E.A.P.S. Jeff devoted his time to his family and cherished the opportunity to invest into the lives of his family and loved ones. He adored his grandsons who called him Pa.

Jeff touched the lives of many people with his generosity, positive personality and his wonderful sense of humor. Jeff devoted his life to following Christ.

Jeff loved gardening, especially raising tomatoes. He was known for loving bonfires and investing words of wisdom and encouragement to others.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Carolyn, and one daughter, Leah (Bill) Speckin; two grandsons, John and Mark Speckin of Clayton, Ind.; his parents, Charles and Martha Dolezal, Toledo, Iowa; sisters, Monica Dolezal (Bob Berger) Des Moines, Iowa, Trude (Ed) Moyer, Fla.; niece, Amy (Lee) Bowers and nephew, Mike (Savannah) Dolezal. He was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Dolezal and a sister at birth; grandparents and one step son, Kurt Goins.

Jeff's body was donated to the Indiana University School of Medicine.

A celebration of life service is scheduled in Avon, Indiana. In lieu of flowers donations may be made online to Teen Challenge of Indiana.
