Funeral services for Frank W. Sebetka, 81, of Traer were held on Friday, June 15, 2007 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Traer. Burial was at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, rural Clutier.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Frank died on Monday, June 11, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo from injuries sustained in a farm accident.

Frank W. Sebetka was born on a farm south of Traer on Aug. 26, 1925; the son of Wesley and Lucile (Podhajsky) Sebetka. He attended country school at Stormy Point No. 5. When Frank graduated he helped on the family farm on account of his father's death.

He married Euna Henningsen on June 3, 1953 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Cedar Falls. They lived on the farm until moving to town in 1994. Frank was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Traer.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Judith Marie and a sister Marion Thompson.

He is survived by his wife Euna of Traer; two sons; Robert and his wife Martha and James and his wife Tammy, all of Traer; three grandchildren and a brother-in-law Glen Thompson.

Overton Funeral Home, Traer, was in charge of the arrangements.
