OBITUARY

Minnie Wolfgram was born near Albert Lea, MN, February 5, 1898, daughter of Charles and Lizzie [Bick] Koester. At an early age Minnie moved with her parents to Reinbeck, IA, where she received her education.

On December 10, 1919, she married Frank Wolfgram at the Methodist Church at Gladbrook, IA. They moved to South Dakota where they farmed for several years.

In 1930, Minnie and Frank returned to Iowa and farmed in the Garwin and Gladbrook areas, moving to farm near Traer in 1945. In 1955 they retired to 106 N. Main Street in Traer, where Minnie continued to live after Frank's death on August 2, 1971.

In 1972, she moved to an apartment at the North Tama Housing and in July of 1982 became a resident of Sunrise Hill Care Center at Traer. In recent months Minnie's health failed and her death came at the care center Wednesday, December 9, 1987, at the age of 89 years.

Minnie was a member of the Ripley United Church of Christ and was a 40-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Donald and Milton C. Wolfgram, both of Traer; two daughters, Mrs. Wilson [Frances] dinsdale and Mrs. Marvin [Ruth] Dinsdale of Traer; three brothers, Walter Koester, Wesley Koester and Lester Koester all of California; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
