OBITUARY
Edwin Anton Wilimek was born January 24, 1916 on a farm northwest of Traer; the son of Anton and Marie (Drinovsky) Wilimek. Following the death of his father his family moved to Belle Plaine where he attended and graduated from high school.
Ed worked for local farmers and was employed by Rath Packing Co. until 1978.
He was united in marriage with Eliza Ann Montgomery on August 12, 1945 and together they made their home in Traer. Ann passed away in 1988 and Ed continued his residence in Traer until the spring of 1990 when he became a resident of the Keystone Care Center.
This past September he came to live with his daughter, Samene and her family in Keystone. Ed loved fishing with Ann, gardening and feeding the squirells.
He was a sports fan and enjoyed following the lives of his grandchildren.
He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and a former member of Odd Fellows.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Eliza Ann, and a daughter and brother in infancy; Roberta Ann and Vincent.
He is survived by his daughter Samene (Mrs. Richard) Berrier of Keystone and his grandchildren Richard E. Berrier and Richelle (Mrs. Matthew) Swanson
