OBITUARY

Joseph Ruzicka was born January 10, 1901 in Chicago, IL; the son of Joseph and Marie (Musel) Ruzicka. As a young boy he moved to Strawberry Point, IA and later to Minnesota with his parents. In 1920 he came to Iowa to work as a hired hand.

On November 21, 1927 Joseph was united in marriage to Agnes S. Yuska at Pine City, MN and they made their home there for two years.

They then returned to Iowa where they made their home on a farm near Buckingham for the remainder of his life.

For the past three weeks he has been a resident at Parkview Gardens Care Center in Waterlook, where his death came on Sunday, April 10, 1994 at the age of 93 years.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception (Blessing) Church.

Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Agnes on May 11, 1974, three sisters; Emily, Mary and one in infancy, two brothers; Laddie and Bill and one great-grandson.

He is survived by his son Edward of Buckingham, three grandchildren, Darrell, Richard and Donna, five great-grandchildren, Somer, Bo James, Stephanie, Dylan and Ryan and one sister Ann Liichtscheidle of Roseville, MN.
