OBITUARY

CURTIS WAYNE ROOT

BRANDON-Services for Curtis Wayne Root, 44, who died Tuesday at People's Memorial Hospital in Kindependence following a long illness will be 10:30 am Friday at St. John's Catholic Church in Independence. Burial at 1:30 pm Friday at West Union Cemetery in Traer. Catholic wake service at 7:30 pm Thursday at White Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 pm Wednesday.

He is survived by his wife, Paulette; three daughters, Corinne Root of Fort Dodge, Kelli Youngton of Hazelton and Janine Root of Independence; a son, Michael of Hot Springs, AR; his mother, Ruby Root of Oelwein; a brother, David L. Root of Tripoli; and a grandson.
