OBITUARY

ROGER RODIMAKERA

Roger W. Rodimaker, 74, of Traer, died Monday, Feb. 5, 1996, at Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer following an extended illness.

Private family committal services will be held at a later date at Buckingham Cemetery, rural Traer. There will be no visitation. Overton Funeral Home in Traer is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established.

Roger W. Rodimaker was born April 24, 1921, at Traer, IA, the son of William and Anna (Reuman) Rodimaker.

He attended and graduated from Dinsdale High School. Roger entered the U.S. Army in 1943 and served his country during World War II.

On Nov. 1, 1952, he was united in marriage to Joan (Crawford) Hook at North Liberty, IA. The couple made their home on a farm northwest of Traer where they farmed for 26 years. Roger then became employed by Funks Hybrid Seed for 15 years.

The couple later moved into Traer making their home at 116 Levering St.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Joan, of Traer; two sons, Steven Hook of LeGrand and Ronald Rodimaker of Marshalltown; two sisters, Ruby Kruse of Cedar Falls and Nadine Waite of Hudson; and seven grandchildren.
