OBITUARY

DENVER - IRENE FRANCES PLOGMAN, 71, of Denver, died Tuesday, March 27, at her home of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 28, 1930, in Tama County, the daughter of Roy and Nom Puis Plogman. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Northern Iowa. Cedar Falls, and then earned her master's degree in social work from Tulanc University.

She was founder of Child and Family Mental Health Consultants and was employed as a child therapist, social work director of Chiid and Family Associates, coordinator of thc Employee Assistance program at Covenant Medical Center and director of the Black Hawk Child Development Center. She was also one of the founders of the Family and Children's Council.

Survived by: a sister, Marion Plogman of Independence.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Virgil and Lester Plogman: and a sister, Violet Thies.

Graveside services: I p.m. Saturday at the West Union Cemetery, rural Traer.

Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Denver.
