OBITUARY

MARY NIEMEYER

LA PORTE CITY-Services for Mary Niemeyer, 96, who died Sunday morning at Colonial Manor, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul United Methodist Church with burial in West Union Cemetery at Traer.

She was born June 4, 1886, near Traer, daughter of William and Margaret Lynch Boldt. She married Henry Niemeyer Sept. 20, 1905, at Traer. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sons, Ernest, Raymond and Clifford, all of La Porte City, and Louis of Magalia, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Norma Claus of Independence, Kan.; a brother, Henry Boldt of Traer; two sisters, Hilda Schutt of Marshalltown and Dora Jensen of Reinbeck; and 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuersday at Huisman-Dykeman Chapel and from 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the church in her name.
