OBITUARY

IVAN MANFULL

Ivan L. ManfuIJ, 89, of Traer, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, after a short illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, at the United Methodist Church, Traer , with burial in Buckingham Cemetery, rural Traer. Ivan L. Manfull was born Aug. 12, 1910, at Montour, Iowa, the son of Arthur and Edna (Tomlinson) Manfull. Ivan received his education in country school and graduated from Traer High School in the Class of 1929.

On May 17, 1939, he was united in marriage to Marjorie Kanipe at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, Iowa. He worked in the Traer community until entering the U.S. Army serving his country during WWll.

Following his discharge, Ivan returned to Traer. He was employed by Holst Implement and retired in 1980.

Ivan enjoyed the outdoors and looked forward to hunting and fishing trips with his son, Larry. He also enjoyed sports, gardening and fussing over his 1965 Pontiac Bonneville. Ivan was a member of the United Methodist Church and the American Legion,

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Charles, Carl, Clifford, Roger, Harry and Meryl and one sister, Myrtle.

Ivan is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Traer; one son, Larry of Dubuque; one brother Arthur of Traer; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild,

Overton Funeral Home, Traer, was in charge of arrangements,
