OBITUARY

Helene Alyce Kebschull was born January 20, 1909 in Shiloh township, Wellsburg, Iowa; daughter of Sam and May (Reiter) Jaspers. She graduated from Northwood High School in 1927 and then attended Hamilton College, Mason City, IA and graduated in Bookkeeping and Secretary, in 1928. Helene then worked as a bookkeeper for J. C. Penney and on August 10, 1932 she was united in marriage to George Carl Kebschull.

After moving to Traer, she worked for L. L. Owens & Associates insurance agency for 31 years.

Currently, Helene had been living at the Mayflower Home in Grinnell, IA and her death came at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center on April 4, 1999 at the age of 90 years.

Helene was a member of Traer United Methodist Church for over 50 years, and belonged to Martha Circle and enjoyed being with her friends.

Helene is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George, a son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Noreen Kebschull of Tama and by 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

She is survived b y 2 grandsons, Rev. David Kebschull and his wife Leslie of River Falls, Wisconsin and Duane Kebschull of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, 2 granddaughters and their husbands, Diane and David Tomlinson of Grinnell, Iowa and Debra and Donald Seylar of Estherville, Iowa, 7 great-grandchildren, 7 nieces, 7 nephews, and a brother-in-law Rudolph Tribbensee.

Following the service, family and friends are invited to attend the luncheon at the church basement.
