OBITUARY

Janette C. Hulme was born November 13, 1905, east of Traer, a daughter of Edward and Agnes [Logan] Stoakes, Janette received her education in the area and graduated from Dysart High School in the class of 1925.

On December 12, 1925 Janette married Leonard Hulme at Waterloo, IA., and they farmed near Dysart for a tim. In 1933 they moved to the farm northwest of Traer where their son Paul now lives. Since 1955 Janette and Leonard have made their home on their farm on Highway 63 north of Traer.

On Friday of this past week, Janette became ill at her home and was taken to Allen Memorial Hospital at Waterloo where she died that morning, July 13, 1979, at the age of 73 years. Janette was a member of the Ripley United Church of Christ of Traer and the American Legion Auxillary,

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Paul Stoakes of Traer. Janette is survived by her husband Leonard of Traer, two sons, Leland and Paul, both of Traer; one daughter, Mrs, Margaret Schrader of Hudson, as well as ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Friends and family are requested to return to the church basement following the committal services for refreshments and fellowship with the family,
