OBITUARY

WILLIAM O. GLENN

William O. Glenn. 45. died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Stanford University Hospital after a three and a half-month battle with cancer.

He was born Dec. 2, 1956, in Whittier, CA and was raised in Pomona, CA. After the death of his father, the family moved to Iowa. He graduated in 1974 from North Tama County Community High School in Traer and went on to receive his technical education at Merritt College in Oakland, CA and the John O'Connell School of Broadcast Engineering in San Francisco, CA. His career was spent in Broadcast Engineering. He had worked for KIFI-TV in Idaho Falls, ill, Ducha Richardson in Colorado Springs, CO, KPIX-TV in San Francisco, CA Quantel and ABEKAS.

For the past 10 years he had been working for the Sony Systems Integration Group and held the position of Senior Project/Product Manager at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Editha Puno Glenn, his mother and step-father, Jean and Walter Rogers of Waterloo; his sister, Barbara Wilson and his nephew and niece, Jacob and Lily Glenn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Glenn and his brother, Curtis Glenn. Memorial services were held Sunday, June 9, 2002, at 1 p. m. at the Menlo Park Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries, 650 Live Oak Ave., Menlo Park. Memorials may be made to the William O.
