OBITUARY

WILSON BRIGGS

Wilson A. Briggs, 73, of Traer, died Tuesday, May 10, 1994, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo of heart failure. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Briggs worked at Rath Packing Company for five years, then was employed by the city of Traer for 35 years, retiring in 1982.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Tanner and three brothers, Sam, Lynus and LeRoy. Survivors include his wife, Maxine of Traer; one son, Sam of Traer; two daughters, Pamela Robbins of Kewanee, IL, and Barbara Butts of Ballwin, MO; five grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Childs of Traer; and one brother, William of Washington, D.C.
