OBITUARY

Funeral services for Deanna Lea (Brady) Kutin, 43, of Cedar Rapids, were held Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, at 10:30 am at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids. Burial was at 2 pm in Buckingham Cemetery, Traer.

Deanna died of cancer Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, at the University Hospital, Iowa City.

Deanna Lea (Brady) Kutin was the daughter of Dale and Donella (Coulson) Brady. She was born Dec. 8, 1956 at Des Moines.

Deanna received her education at Cedar Rapids, graduating from Jefferson High School in the Class of 1975. She continued her education at Kirkwood Community College and the University of Northern Iowa graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She taught in Iowa and Texas before pursuing a career in office management and was employed by Rockwell Collins in the payroll department.

On Jan. 2, 1998, she was united in marriage to Charles Kutin at Trinity United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids. In free moments Deanna enjoyed reading science fiction novels and watching movies. She also enjoyed her flower garden, caring for the children of friends and relatives and her cat Pandora.

Deanna was preceded in death by her father, Dale Brady.

She is survived by her husband, Charles of Cedar Rapids, her mother, Donella Watkinson of Cedar Rapids, one sister, Debra Blaha of Chelsea and two nieces.
