OBITUARY

Wayne Leland Justice was born at Greenup, Illinois on June 2, 1914, the son of Charles and Stella (Legg) Justice. Following his education Wayne entered the US Navy and was serving at Pearl Harbor at the time of the attack on Dec. 7, 1941. Following the war, Wayne completed his 20 years of service to the navy and became employed at Argonne National Laboratory.

On September 5, 1953 Wayne was united in marriage to Evelyn Christoffer in New Orleans, LA. They lived in West Mont, Illinois where Wayne retired after 20 years with Argonne.

In 1984 Wayne and Evelyn moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to be near family. Recently Wayne's health had failed and he was a patient at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids when his death came on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002 at the age of 88 years.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Evelyn of Cedar Rapids, a brother Dale of Magalia, CA, two sisters; ...[balance of funeral card is missing].
