Norman WEUVE

Funeral services for Norman WEUVE, 55, of Traer, are scheduled for Friday, April 2 at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Traer at 11 a.m. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery, Marshalltown. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Overton Funeral Home, Traer.

Mr. Weuve died Monday, March 29, 1993, at his home, with the cause of death pending results from the Tama County Medical Examiner.

The Rev. Donald Schoeppler will officiate at the funeral service and Mrs. Wesley Tomlinson will furnish organ music. Casket bearers are Darrell PAUSTIAN, Ernie Pusteoska, Robert Karr, Harold Vorba, Jack Cooper and Dale Jefferson. Tending to floral tributes will be Nancy Pusteoska, Lisa Pusteoska, Sharon Karr, Verena Vorba and Jeanne PAUSTIAN.

Norman E WEUVE was born Jan. 18, 1938, in Marshall County, Iowa, the son of Melvin and Lydia Iva (JEFFERSON) WEUVE. He received his education at Colo, graduating from Colo High School in 1956. Norman then continued his education at an electronics school in Des Moines, before becoming employed by the Polk County Federal Savings and Loan as parking attendant.

On June 7, 1963, Norman was united in marriage to Vivian PAUSTIAN at Gladbrook. They made their home in Des Moines, where Norman became an employee for the state Department of Transportation. In 1967, Norman and Vivian moved to Traer, where he continued working for the DOT.

Norman was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Traer. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping with his family.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian WEUVE of Traer; two daughters, Mrs. Greg (Pamela) HOPPAL of Phoenix, Ariz., and Suzanne WEUVE of Marion; three sisters, Mrs. David (Avonelle) LAMPHERE of Arkansaw, Wis., Mrs. Verne (W. Jean) ROENFELDT of Aurora, Colo., and Mrs. Merlin (Linday) DUNAHOO of Austin, Texas.
