CHESICK, Theola L (1914 - 1996)

OBITUARY

Theola L. CHESICK was born April 28, 1914 in rural Clutier, Iowa; the daughter of Theodore and Lillian (KAHLER) HANSEN. She attended country school near Clutier and on September 25, 1940 she married Charles CHESICK at Toledo. Theola and Charles made their home farming on the family farm near Clutier until moving to an acreage east of Traer. In later years they retired to 628 2nd Street in Traer where she continued to live following Charles’ death on August 4, 1985. On December 31, 1995 she entered the Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer. On Thursday, May 16, 1996 she was admitted to Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo where her death came at the age of 82 years. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Traer. Theola is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles. She is survived by her brother; Kenneth HANSEN of Traer and her niece and nephew; Susan and Dean.

Following committal services family and friends are invited to return to the church for a luncheon and a time of fellowship.
