Son of Allan Ramsey and Emma G. Wilson.

Enlisted Apr 5, 1918 at Toledo, IA.

Entered RaheÕs Tractor and Auto School; transferred to Camp Jackson, Camp Merritt; first entered 18th Training Bn., Battery C.F.A. R.D.

In France Aug 23, 1918; member of Bat. F, 121st Field Art., 57th Brigade, 32nd Div. In the battles of Verdun, Juvigny Plateau, Alsace, Meuse-Argonne and Soissons, Kreimhilde Stelling, La Darne Marie and Vesle. 32nd Div. received several citations. 57th Brigade mentioned for bravery.
