Born March 5, 1899 at Taylorsville, IL.

Son of Henry H. and Rosa Wilson.

Enlisted July 12, 1916, at Cedar Rapids; entered Jefferson Barracks; transferred to Ft. Dupont, and Camp Merritt; first entered Co. 3, Coast Art.

In France Jan 8, 1918; member 4th Machine Gun Bn., 2nd Div.
