STAMP, Edward

Born Nov 24, 1888 in Tama County, Iowa.

Son of Henry and Abell Stamp.

Entered service July 24, 1918, at Toledo, Iowa; entered Camp Gordon; transferred to Montsay, France. First entred Co. B, 4th Repl.

In France Sep 11. Member of Co. D, 11th Inf., 5th Div. Took part in the battle of Argonne Forest. Was wounded by Shrapnel shell, also shell shocked.

Sailed for US Nov 26, 1918. Mustered out Jan 11, 1919 from Casual Co.
